Policies

 

 

  • DEPOSIT – A deposit of $50 is required to book. It will go towards your total balance. (IT IS NON- REFUNDABLE) meaning you will lose it upon cancellation for any reason.  Therefore, please be sure you can keep your appointments before booking.
  • CANCELLATION WAIT LIST:  Please call, text, or DM to be added.  Once we have been notified of a cancellation, we will reach out directly on a first come first serve basis. 
  • LAST MINUTE RESCHEDULING REQUESTS:  Should be done 48 hours before the appointment date. Otherwise, a new deposit fee will be required.
  • TIMELY RESCHEDULING REQUESTS:  No new deposit fee will apply if done 48 hours prior to the appointment date.
  • NO CALL NO SHOW:  Puts clients at risk of losing future scheduling privileges. 
  • TARDINESS:  A fee of $25 will apply after being late for 20 minutes.  After 30 minutes, the appt will automatically be cancelled unless we are notified in advance.  That time slot will then be opened for walk ins.  (Please allow yourself enough time to commute).
  • PREPARATION:  Please be sure hair is washed and braided in sections.  Do not use oil until after hair is braided.  Blow drying is not mandatory, but please make sure your hair is in a manageable state so I can move through it at a reasonable pace.  Please make sure the hair is conditioned and detangled thoroughly prior to appt. 
  • PAYMENT METHOD:  Zelle and Cash App are accepted.
  • PROVIDING YOUR OWN HAIR EXTENSION:  Please drop it off or order and mail to us (a couple of days in advance so it can get prepped to save time on braiding day.
  • BOOKING THE CORRECT BRAIDS’ LENGTH ***Please take into consideration the length of your hair (both in its natural state and blown out) before selecting your desired length.  (Ex: if your hair is shoulder length, please choose the next length for styling purposes).  Selecting a longer length than your hair will produce a more satisfying outcome.

  • REQUESTING ADDITIONAL SERVICES
    Please add all additional services in the comment section upon booking your appointment. Last minute requests will not be granted upon arrival due to time restraints.

 

  • TAKING BRAIDS DOWN SERVICES
    Please be sure to take your braids down and prep your hair prior to your appointment. Take downs are scheduled separately. Unbraided hair will result in a cancellation.

 

  • CANCELLING WHEN HAIR WAS PROVIDED
    Please be mindful If you cancel your appointment, I cannot use that same hair for someone else. Everyone chooses different lengths and colors. Therefore, you are still expected to pay for the hair if you cancel. At this point, I have spent money and time prepping for your appointment. Please feel free to pick it up and use it at a later time as it is yours.

 

  • 5PM SLOTS
    Please be mindful when booking this slot in terms of styles, sizes and lengths you are choosing as it is a late appointment.

 

  • ALLOWING TIME TO BE SERVICED
    If you have to be at work or made other plans right after your appointment, please allow yourself enough time to get the service done.  Please do not rush me by asking “when are we going to be done?”.  Styling takes time, but I do my best to get everyone out as quickly as possible.  I do not want you to be unhappy when you leave my chair due to being rushed.

 

  • BEFORE AND AFTER HOUR APPOINTMENTS
    A $50 fee will be applied for before 7am and after 5pm appointments.
